Did you know that your stomach is as big as your hand is, palm flat and fingers together?
I did actually. Flat palm is after you've stuffed yourself. Closed fist is when your stomach is empty. I went to see the Bodies Exhibit at the Southstreet Seaport and it's crazy how small some things are and how truly compacted all your intestine are.
I was just halfway through my giant salad and fairly full, but considering eating the rest, because it has a delicious combination of ingredients in it. But I do not see how it would all fit inside a container the size of my hand, so now I will put the remaining portion in the fridge. Thanks, girls.
